Upgrade Your Diploma
Upgrade your old Diploma or upgrade from Certificate IV to Diploma
Many people trained in beauty therapy a long time ago and have qualifications that are now not recognised. You can apply to upgrade your old qualification to the latest Diploma of Beauty Therapy SHB50115.
You can apply for RPL for units you have experience in but may not have a formal qualification for. Your old qualifications will be mapped to the new qualification, and you may need to complete some units to reach the new standard.
The cost is $5000 for the upgraded unit. Payment plans are available to students.
As a general guide therapists with a Diploma WRB50199 or WRB50105 may need to complete or prove RPL. Those with a Certificate IV would normally need to complete the following units:
